Patch 1.2 - Better drops! Praise RNG!

Heya! Today we are going to release a small patch that addresses some issues in our server.

Launcher:

  • Implemented download settings.
  • Implemented game settings.
  • Implemented damage meter enable and disable.
  • Renovated the description when setting up the client for the first time.

Game:

  • Fixed a bug that allowed users to use awakening weapon offensive points without being in the awakening stance.
  • Awakening damage will now scale 30% of main hand offensive points and 70% of awakening weapon offensive points.
  • Implemented connectednode drop rates.
  • Renovated item roulette algorithm.
  • Renovated item drop algorithm.
  • Boss health has been reduced by 50%.
  • Game Masters will now be hidden from the Ranking.

Developer note: Today we have addressed some issues that players have been waiting for some time now. By enabling the damage meter, we were able to detect some issues that we have never seen before, that have been fixed in days time. Drop rates are still an issue in private server community although we will try to make the generation a bit more fail-safe for each and every drop.

Can you elaborate on this a little? What is different exactly from what it used to be? The drops seem like that got a lot worse.

Awakening damage will now scale 30% of main hand offensive points and 70% of awakening weapon offensive points.

the 30/70 split is wrong and taken out of context. It should be 43/100. The 30/70 comes from when AP from accessories are taken as baseline. It shouldn’t when it comes to damage distribution. Loosing 30% AP from a weapon is wrong. The real distribution is 43/100.

The context being that the split is 43% from main hand, 100% from awakening and 143% from accessories. This is the “same” as 30/70/100. You just put accessories as baseline vs the awakening weapon. But that split is not right when it comes to balance.
You still get 100% of the AP your awakening gives you. And 43% from main hand. And since accessories applies 100% to BOTH weapons. You get 143% from their AP.

and the boss hp is lowered 50 % and so our dps took us trice the time we beat world bosses before the this patch1.2, so that boss health reduced by 50% didnt help at all. were not happy with these new formula it just made it worse,

population wise… we lost many players before now new players are coming and they are having a hard time with these new dps formula thingy.
