@Lahn Guards either do not deal 20% max hp or there’s at least 5 gaurds underground in every square meter. I have been at full hp and everytime I have been hit by a single guard, I lose at the very least half my hp. There have been times as well where there are no guards around me and I suddenly go from 100% to dead. There is an issue with guards atm.

On another note, the guards deal far too much damage, players with 300dp can only be hit twice before death. In comparison, retail guards can be easily tanked with just 240dp

So, it’s a known issue that the amount of guard spawns are far more than need to be. I’m requesting a reduction on the guard spawns and the removal of some guard spawns so that red players aren’t stuck in an infinite death loop. Currently it is possible that if you die in mediah near altinova or if you die near heidel that you will be stuck in a death loop on respawn. Even using the command /rescue, will place you just outside Olvia WITHIN aggro range of 5-6 guards and the only way to avoid dying there is to lower graphical settings so that you have a short load screen so that you can immediately V or use evasion skills to outrun the guards. Now I know there’s going to be some people saying “That’s what red players deserve, reee!!” but consider the fact that some red players aren’t red because thye run around pking everyone. We do have karma bombers on the server. Regular players grinding and minding their own business will be occasionally karma bombed and if they die before getting to positive karma, there’s a good chance they’ll get stuck in a death loop. I’m suggesting a removal of ALL guards from small nodes such as farms and from the middle of the road in random locations. Guards in cities is fine, but having guards at the /rescue location, and at random nodes is frustrating for some players.

Sure it’s not our personal exchange center but you see, we DO NOT have p2p trading. Nearly every mmo out there does not promote the listing of top gear. For example WoW does not have an automated system that announced some top tier item was listed. My suggestion was because of p2p trading being disabled. Since we cannot trade gear with friends or guildies (which is a feature nearly every mmo has in some form), I believe the system announcement should be disabled. How else are we supposed to help a friend or a guildie? If some form of private trade was implemented then sure, keep the announcements because then we could at least sell at the marketplace price to a friend but at the moment this is not the case. Again, other games do not announce gear listings to the world (the marketplace in those games arent personal exchange centers either), so I suggest the same here.

Both options are terrible as it solves nothing. How about one change that will 100% fix it unless there’s a bot? Such as, removing any and all announcements of boss gears being placed on the mp? When someone sells a boss item, it’s 99% for a specific person and not some random posting. Disabling the announcement would prevent the entire server from hoping on the mp and sniping. This way only the seller and the one who wants to purchase it will know about the posting and if the boss gear is sniped somehow, that would at least point to bot usage as there would be no way for someone else to know about the posting unless they perchance happened to be browsing a specific armour listing at a specific time.

Check your guildies contracts. If there’s a blue mark to the right of their names in the guild members window it means contract is expired and must be renewed. Guildies with expired contracts do not count as online for the guild. Also there is a bug currently when inviting people to a guild, they have their contracts immediately expired.

Relic Scroll: 41583
Cartian Spell: 41587
When using a relic or cartian spell scroll, the boss mob seems to not spawn. Minimap shows a boss mob icon as if the boss spawned though the boss either is not spawned or has spawned underground. I’m lead to believe the boss does not spawn as large aoe attacks at the spawn does not make a hit noise nor does the boss icon on the minimap move unless the boss mob spawned significantly underground that it can’t be hit nor is close enough to aggro. Regardless, both scrolls only continuously and infinitely spawn two red orcs npcs.
